Welcome to Emma Makes

Working from my home studio in Featherston, New Zealand, I design and sew my own range of bags, zipper purses and soft toys using small runs of vintage and new textiles.

I work a lot with vintage wool, using blankets with names like Princess and Roslyn to create special, long-lasting products.

I also make a line of notebooks and design witty pencils.
