Nine things to know about me:

one: By thinking about what I want to make I can work out exactly how to make it. This works for everything from building garden gates to making new prints.

two: Cherry is my absolute favourite flavour.

three: When I was seven years old I won a competition at school by standing on my head for 20 minutes.

four: Most of the stuff in my house is second hand. The oldest thing is our lounge suite, which was originally a gift to my great-grandparents for their wedding.

five: I am unusually gifted at parallel parking.

six: I rarely plan anything but am open to opportunities. I don't have a career plan (never have) but have been lucky to have a great career.

seven: When I was 15 I won the same trophy for piano playing that Michael Houstoun won when he was 15.

eight: I love movies of factory scenes.

nine: I failed Bursary printmaking. Now I have a degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Printmaking, which I passed with an A+

Inspiring by this amazing list.
